I would recommend you use a good lubrication. If you're using condoms I would recommend you try a different form of birth control as they can be quite uncomfortable. If using a good lubrication doesn't work then a trip to the doctor is necessary. There may be something physically wrong that can easily be fixed, or perhaps your wife just needs some education on ual relations to help her adjust.
