She probably still likes you if she's willing to talk to you more than what's polite. However, I'd be careful of pursuing a friendship with her. Your ex may have been very hurt by your turning him down, and even though his mother may understand, its not fair for him to have to be constantly reminded of that by you two hanging out. She's his mother first.
