I need help with my ovulation....and partner!!?

this isnt meant to sound like a joke question but its really true lol....im a bit exceited, i had a week of discharge last week instead of a period and my periods have been between 10days and 3 weeks late for the past 7 months, anyway i went to see my doc at the end of last week after my weired period and told him also that i have never got a positive result on my ovulation strips so he said there could be a good chance im not ovulating and i am waiting for tests....anyway i have just done two ovulation tests and the positives lines are darker than the control line, first time ever!!! im defo ovulating!!!! this even could be me ovulating every other month so its now or never,..but im worried now (and dont laugh please!!) my partner is in the police and whilst its been nice this week he has been mostly cycling..its also been hot and sticky and 'down there' last night on him was red raw and looked quite sore and it was to touch so we left it, anyway, e is at work now and i was planning to pounce when he got home but i know he wont be able to do it as it will hurt!! what shall i do, this may be the first time in i dont know how long we can maybe concieve as i havnt ovulated in about 7 months at least!! please can anyone gve me any advise, shall i expect him to go through the pain or wait till i dont know when!!
