Why do people let themselves get in too deep with the law?

im trying to understand why people avoid paying tickets then have the nerve to gripe about it when they go to jail. i understand we all have problems money is the main one but taking responsibility is the other. if you are ridin dirty on you car,truck or suv. don't wait til you have 4+warrants for your arrest to make a move. my single homegirl has been in this car and got speeding tickets and has warrants, was out late last night doing nothing she should be, then gets pulled over,taken into custody, and has the nerve to call me for a bail out. like i have that kinda cash. i love her but i i have a family and responsibilities and cannot afford 600 to bail her out and then be stuck with whether or not she goes to court etc. i told her, you are off work this week, it would be in your best interest to sit there, as horrible as it is going to be, and wait it out, by friday you wont owe anyone anything!!!! which she agreed made sense. now shes trying to get people to bail her out. hello, your family wont even give us $50 on it WTF!!!! i dunno what to do. i am not in her position and cant imagine what shes going thru but if you are struggling finincially and cant afford these tickets wouldn't it make more sense to stay in jail? your thoughts?
