Signature help (this question Is twenty characters long. xP)?

I need help! I'm not all to good with Cursive writing, But my mom says I HAVE to do it in cursive for it to be a 'signature'. So, I was only wondering, Can I just write it Fancy? I have good handwriting, I can make it look CLOSE to cursive, without it being cursive, but theres no way I could write it in cursive. Would my fancy, Curvy writing work?
