Okay I'm 13 and really really really want a 16 gb ipod touch..? Is it worth it? Is it good?Will it last?

I TAKE SUPER DUPER GOOD CARE OF MY ELECTRONICS! I am the most responsible kid in the family even more so than my 16 and 17 year old cousins when it comes to electronics. So, can ya'll give me any helpful tips or anything to that effect! PLEAASEE! Also, how do you think I can convince my mawmaw and pawpaw to get me one?(I live with my mawmaw and pawpaw) Please please please help!!
