Cheap table decoration ideas?

We just married a few weeks ago and I had my florist take care of the centerpieces. This way you aren't left with 10 things that you'll never use again! Anyway, the florist did a beauiful job and it was rather inexpensive. I believe we paid about $250 for 19 tables! What he did was place a beautiful rose in a small "fish bowl" floating in water. He surrounded the small gl bowl with real rose petals, tea lights and votives. It was simple, but stunning. It's something that you could do on your own, but I'd definitely call a few florists and ask if they provide the service. That way, you just have to pay!
