What can I do to avoid jail for an evading arrest charge?

I was pulled over for this charge october of last year-10 months have ped by and I have not been in trouble since-however did test positive for cocaine on a drug test.I am enrolled in school and have a 4 yr. old son-I made a dumb mistake for taking a party out of hand but dont want this to affect me my whole life.Probation is an option I would like to consider.However a jail sentence is what I am afraid of.What can I do to prove my case to the judge.
