My panasonic dmc-lz5 is stating memory card error please check card. Card works in another camera.?

Make sure the card you are using is Secure Digital (SD) or SDHC. Some of the older types of memory cards will not work in the newer model cameras and vice versa. the lz5 is a pretty recent camera so make sure you have the SD card.
