Why does a block of wood or cork lose more weight in water than its total weight, when totally immersed in wat?
It does not lose any weight. It displaces an amount of water equal to it's volume. Since it is less dense than water, there is a net upward force from the water. When the block is floating, it displaces an amount of water equal to it's weight, so the net force is zero and the block neither rises or falls.
How do British Infantry soldiers get into the SAS?
I heard they're in the army (infantry) for about 3 years then they can apply to join and have to p a series of grueling tests. Is this right?
I masturbated for the first time...?
You have to have a need to do so. If you are not involved with things, it is a workout and you get bored

Would I be ethnically Chinese or Vietnamese?
Ethnicity refers not to just race, but also to culture. If you act according to Vietnamese customs, you're considered Vietnamese. Your birth nationatilty is Vietnamese, but is currently American. When they say Vietnamese-Chines, it is based on race.

Any good tricks to using infrared LED's?
I'm designing a circuit with a set of 6 IR LED's that will be blinking. Currently, they are all hooked up in parallel. The nominal voltage suggested is 1.2, which is what I am running. However, it doesn't say anything about nominal current, and I'm running maybe 30 mA. I don't have any IR detectors, and mostly I want the LED's to emit as much IR light as possible. I don't know if they're even emitting any light, so my question is can they be hooked up and run just like regular LED's (except with significantly less voltage) and emit IR light, or is there a special way to hook them up?
